This elderly couple were dancing the Tango for tourists on the street in a suburb of Buenos Aires and I was entranced by their apparent long time relationship dancing together. Some years afterward, I decided to create an art piece relating to this love affair. Using the general pose I had captured via camera, I changed some of the clothing, the hair style and the venue. Placing them in a Tango night club, I added the checkered floor and the cocktail tables. It was purchased because of the fond memory a client had of her own grandparents dancing together until they could dance no more.
